I was looking for an engineer to mix a track, so I reached out to @semprok to see if he knew anyone. He connected me with @miamibeatwave —and that introduction turned into something I never could have imagined.

Miami Beat Wave not only mixed my original version, but the record inspired him to send me a remix. From there, we collaborated to bring “Borinquen” to the world.

Never for a second did I think that one connection, one song, and one collaboration would lead to GRAMMY® consideration.
